My favorite movie is "Take the Lead".It is a very inspirational and true to life story of Pierre Dulaine which is the played by Antonio Banderas. Mr. Dulaine is a ballroom instructor. He finds himself a detention teacher after witnessing the destruction of a principal's car.
His first day was tough. The students were rough on him and left him alone in the room. Moreover, they ruined his bike, his way of transportation. That moment he knew, he had a lot of work and changing to do. He now had an idea. He taught the students, ballroom dancing.
It was hard to convince from the start but when Mr. Dulaine announced that there was a $5000 cash prize that awaits the winning couple at the Annual Ballroom Competition, they didn't resist.
They trained hard and even came upon an idea. They combined Classical music with RnB. It was a great idea indeed! Weeks after, Mr. Dulaine received a new bike, better than the other. His students also learned how to listen and say thank you and your welcome.
Mr. Dulaine's way of teaching and changing is by dancing. He showed everyone that has doubt on him that change is just one step on the floor.
"Take the Lead" is hope for those who want to change. Every DREAM begins by taking ONE STEP.
